Notice of Public Hearing Proposed Local Law 14, 2026 Legal Notice Town of Hamburg Notice of Hearing Proposed Local Law #14, 2026 PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that there has been presented to the Town Board of the Town of Hamburg on August 24, 2026, pursuant to the Municipal Home Rule Law, a proposed local law to be known as proposed local law #14, 2026; the proposed local law amends Chapter 265 of the Hamburg Town Code entitled "Vehicles and Traffic". follows: Amend Chapter 265 (Vehicles and Traffic), by amending § 265-1, entitled “Speed limits and highways designated”. This proposed local law will amend the speed limit on Pleasant Avenue in the Town of Hamburg specific to speed study recommendations from the Erie County Department of Public Works. It is proposed to reduce the speed limit on Pleasant Avenue from Amsdell Road to Route 20 from 45 mph to 40 mph.
