Rezone the following SBL #s: 160.14-2-35, 160.14-2-37, 160.14-2-49, and 160.14-2-50 from R- 2 to MU-1; Rezone the following SBL # 160.11-2-16 from R-2 to MU-1; and Whereas, a public hearing was held regarding these Code amendments on June 22nd, 2026, and comments were received and acknowledged from the public and Erie County, based on the 239-m referral. Whereas, the Hamburg Town Board, in accordance with Part 617 of the implementing regulations pertaining to Article 8 (State Environmental Quality Review Act - SEQRA) of the Environmental Conservation Law, has issued a SEQR Negative Declaration. Now Therefore Be It Resolved, the Hamburg Town Board amends Local Law #10 of the year 1986 of the Code of the Town of Hamburg Chapter 280 entitled “Zoning” to provide for the revisions of the Town Code, and to provide for changes in the boundary of the Zoning Map whereby the Zoning is changed from NC (Neighborhood Commercial General Residence District), R-2 (Single-Family Residence, Attached District), R-3 (Multifamily District), C-2 (General Commercial District), C-3 (Office District) and HC (Hamburg Commercial District) to MU-1 (Mixed-Use District 1) and SIA (Stadium Impact Area District) for the properties indicated above – see attached amended map as referenced above and attached.
