Town Board of the Town of Hamburg August 10, 2026 Meeting 4.39. ECWA Water System Improvements Additional Fire Hydrant WHEREAS, the Town of Hamburg has been notified by Erie County Water Authority of a Water System Improvement Project planned within the Town and; WHEREAS, as part of the project, ECWA is planning to install a new section of watermain between 5310 Southwestern Blvd. and 5278 Southwestern Blvd. and are planning to install one (1) Hydrant and; THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board authorizes the ECWA to install the one (1) additional fire hydrant as shown on the project plans and reviewed by the Town Engineering Department and that the Town of Hamburg agrees to pay the ECWA the annual direct service hydrant maintenance fee for this hydrant, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk is requested to provide two certified copies of this resolution to the Engineering Department for transmittal to the ECWA. 188
