Town Board of the Town of Hamburg August 10, 2026 Meeting 4.12. Emergency Demolition Contractor WHEREAS, the Town of Hamburg Code Enforcement Department is responsible for the enforcement of Town of Hamburg Local Law No. 5-1972. (Chapter 80) Unsafe Buildings, Village of Hamburg Local Law No. 1-2014. (Chapter 127) Dangerous Buildings, and Village of Blasdell Local Law No. 5- 1997 (Chapter 100A) Unsafe Buildings and Structures, and such services to perform an emergency demolition of a structure that is in imminent danger of collapse are required BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town of Hamburg is looking to appoint two emergency demolition contractors for a duration of one year with the Town Board having the sole discretion to renew annually for another two years, to be on call for emergency demolitions, and, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk is authorized to advertise for sealed bids entitled “Hamburg Emergency Demolition Contractor” Sealed bids must be received at Hamburg Town Hall, Town Clerk’s Office, 6100 South Park Avenue, Hamburg, New York 14075, and said bid will be publicly opened and read aloud on September 15, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. in Conference Room 7A Mailed bids should be sent to: Town of Hamburg, Attn: Town Clerk 6100 South Park Avenue Hamburg, New York 14075.
