The next step is for the Town of Aurora Town Board to 1) authorize the Supervisor to sign the intermunicipal agreement and 2) approve out-of-district water customer status to Mr. Kalwicki contingent upon receipt of the SBL (property identification number) from Erie County for his parcel and a signed agreement from Mr. Kalwicki agreeing to pay an annual debt service fee to the Town of Aurora. (The amount of the debt service fee will not be available until the SBL number and assessed property value are received.) In order for A Soldier’s Journey Home to begin construction of a house for Mr. Kalwicki, approval of this OOD status is required in order for that organization to apply to the Erie County Water Authority for water service.
