TOWN OF AURORA WATER CONNECTIONS WITH ITS NEIGHBORING MUNICIPALITIES The Town of Elma and the Village of East Aurora buy their water from ECWA but own, operate and maintain their water system themselves. ECWA has nothing to do with their water system. The connection of Elma and East Aurora to the Town of Aurora becomes an important consideration for Aurora because if something happens with either Elma’s or East Aurora’s water system, their could be a major effect on portions of the Town of Aurora. Elma, East Aurora and Aurora are highly dependent on each other for water.
