between -6.7% and +6.9%, the average change
in the student population each year for the

however, the total number of 6th - 8th and Fig. 5: East Aurora School District Enrollment Rates
9th – 12th graders have both decreased by
more than 10%. The EAUFSD’s latest annual
student enrollment report projects a reversal
of the school district’s declining population
trends with an increased student enrollment
of 1,698 by the 2027/2028 school year. The
  report anticipates kindergarten enrollment to
decline by 4.9% and 9th-12th grade enrollment
to decline by 8.8% by 2027/2028. However,
6th-8th grade enrollment and 1st-5th grade
enrollment are projected to increase by 18.3%
and 2.5% respectively, over the same period.
In addition to the school district, there are six
private schools in the Village of East Aurora
and Town of Aurora. These include The Aurora
Waldorf School, The Grow School, and the
Guiding Earth Montessori School, East Aurora
Montessori School, Mandala School, and the
  Immaculate Conception School. None of
these private schools offer full K-12 education
and instead specialize in specific student
  populations or methods of education.
