REGULAR BOARD MEETING TOWN HALL
JUNE 17, 2026 7:30 P.M.

Councilwoman Martin reported on the following:
Extended Father's Day greetings and reminded residents to enjoy the
Independence Day fireworks, noting that the Board would not meet again
until after the July 4th holiday.

Town Clerk Quinlan reported on the following:
Early voting is currently underway at Town Hall, with hours running noon
to 9:00 PM on weekdays and 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekends. There will
be no primary election for Town of Boston positions on Tuesday, June
23rd. Reminder to residents of the Brinkerhoff Run taking place
Saturday, June 20th at 10:00 AM, and advised those needing to travel
during that time to plan accordingly by allowing extra time or departing
before the 10:00 AM start. Lions Club Chicken Barbecue tickets are still
available. Reminder to all drivers to be attentive to increased summer
activity on the roads, including cyclists, motorcyclists, and children.

Supervisor Keding reported on the following:
Update on the three All-Way Stop traffic studies that had been requested
  through prior Town Board resolutions.
Regarding the Zimmerman Road (CR-437) and Mayer Road (CR-471)
intersection, Erie County studied the intersection on October 29, 2025,
and again on May 19, 2026, after spring vegetation had come into bloom.
Warrants for an all-way stop were not met. The term "all-way stop" is Erie
County's standard terminology for such studies and does not
predetermine the outcome. Erie County's recommendation is to replace
the existing 30-inch stop sign with a 36-inch stop sign featuring reflective
red stripes, add a second stop sign on the opposing side of the roadway,
and relocate stop ahead warning signs with yellow reflective post stripe
  covers closer to the intersection.
Regarding the Zimmerman Road (CR-437) and Rice Road (CR-233)
intersection, the same study protocol was followed with studies
conducted in October 2025 and May 2026. Erie County similarly
recommended the installation of 36-inch stop signs and the placement of
stop ahead warning signs with yellow reflective post stripe covers on Rice
Road for westbound traffic approaching the intersection.
The third outstanding study, for the Feddick Road and Rice Road
intersection — requested following a resident's appearance before the
Board — remains pending, and the Board will report back upon receiving
  Erie County's findings.
Encouraging residents to sign up for TextMyGov, noting that
communications regarding Independence Day are forthcoming. He
credited Deputy Miller, Emergency Manager Pat Penrod, and Patchin Fire
Company for their work on coordinating traffic management for the
holiday event. Summer Concert Series will begin on July 7th, following
the nation's 250th anniversary celebration, with performances scheduled
each Tuesday through August. He noted that the lineup was developed
