ECSD No. 3 Board ctf Managers December 3,2025 Meeting Minutes Page 3 of 5 ITEM NO. 6 _ MISCELLANEOUS & INFORMATIONAL ITEMS a Operational Report Mr. Kaminski presented the following operational report: Soulhtowns AIITF Expansion Project - Phase,l: Dealt with numerous operalional challenges during the substantial completion period ofthis project including coordination efforts with the Contractor conceming parking area restoration activities. Mr. Hojnacki presented the following collection systems report: Collection System Repairs: Completed a sanitary main spot repair on Amsdell Rd. in the Town of Hamburg in preparation for a subsequent Cured-in-Place Pipe lining project at this location. . Milestrip Road Odor Control: Replaced all manhole carbon inserts along Milestrip Rd., in the Town of Orchard Park, in response to an odor complaint. b. Construction Status Report Contract No. 73 (Southtowns AWTF Influent Screening&olacement) - Hohl Industrial Services installed all equipment and completed punch list items for the general/mechanical contract. Closeout will be requested at the next meeting. Contract No. 74-C (Southtowns AWTF Exoansion Phase l) - Major building and process work has been completed. Portions of this project, such as the outfall cleaning and repair. are being issued substantia[ completion. The remainder of building and process systems should be completed in the next couple of months. Change Order No. 2, involving the installation of influent piping and facilities to expedite construction for Phase 2, will be completed in the spring. Site work will also be completed in the spring. Original Contract work should be completed by the Contract No. 74-C completion date of March 6, 2026. Contract No. 75 (Southtowns AWTF Expansion Phase 2) - This project is expected to bid in 2026 Co n Collections Facili - The new building is fully erected with masonry work taking place. Concrete and pavement construction have been completed. Windows and doors are being installed next. Due to weather delays this past spring, the building delivery being delayed, and delayed steel worker availability, a 90-day time extension was issued making the new completion date February 16,2026. Contract No. 8l (South towns AWTF Exoansion Pre-Phase 2 Electrical U na rad es) - This project is in the shop drawing submittal and approved stage which will be followed by an anticipated lengthy equipment procurement timeframe. Onsite work for this project could start as late as2027. The scheduled Contract completion date is July 19,2028.
