Stohl's services are an additional cost, but not for you. Their services are typically paid
by the Owners via a $350-$375 commitment fee that is reimbursed with grant funds
upon their completed project being certified.

Sub Consultant CBCA: Design Concept Services - CBCA has worked on many of
HCR'S NY Forward, Downtown Revitalization Initiative, NY Main Street, Buffalo Main
Street grant projects and on many Empire State Development East Side (Buffalo)
fagade improvement grant projects. CBCA led a team of architects providing design
services for dozens of small commercial corridor building facades for the Erie County
Commercial Center Improvement program.

CBCA also provided design concept services and implementation several years ago in
the Village of Gowanda with the Erie County Commercial Center Improvement
Program grant, completing fagade projects at Gabel Bros., Haget’s Florist, Radio
Shack, Gowanda Pharmacy to name a few. A significant improvernent was mace in
the Village’s commercial district with this Erie County grant.

HCR’s downtown revitalization programs have their roots in the work of Clinton Brown
with the Preservation League of NYS. They conducted workshops titled "Enhancing
Main Street: Making Upper Floors Work Again” across the state that focused on
rehabilitating underutilized upper floors of historic commercial buildings, particularly for
residential reuse. These workshops provided expertise on navigating building codes
and development hurdles.

The cost of design services for owners who request design services can be included
for reimbursement in their grant award frorn the soft costs budget upon completion of
their project. HRLLC would coordinate with CBCA or the Owner's design professional
to provide design concepts.

Added Value & Service for Qwners: Some of the Village's commercial properties
may be eligible for National Register listing. HRLLC would be able to assist with NYS
Historic Tax Credit applications for interested property owners
