Town Board of the Town of Hamburg August 10, 2026 Meeting 4.43. Amsdell Road Extension WHEREAS, the Town of Hamburg is committed to providing sidewalks for the safe travel of pedestrians throughout the Town; and WHEREAS, the Town completed a portion of Amsdell Road, but per the funding requirements, must utilize MWBE and/or SDVOB firms as part of the project; and WHEREAS, the Town Engineer released a Request for Quotes to those firms on the State list for these certifications and received one MBE and one SDVOB; and WHEREAS, the Town Engineer recommends the Town enter into an agreement with one or both firms for the extension of sidewalks and one new crossing on Amsdell Road for a not-to-exceed price of $150,000. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to enter into an agreement with one or both firms for work at a cost not-to-exceed $150,000 and the Town Engineer and EECG Consulting to coordinate the scope of work starting as soon as possible. Funds are available in General Fund 210
