4.44. Schoelkopf Road Town Property Ditch Cleaning

WHEREAS, the Town of Hamburg owned vacant property on Schoelkopf Road, SBL #190.09-4-19.11
includes a large drainage channel that receives runoff from the Town roads and local properties; and

WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has inspected the condition of the channel and found it is in
need of significant maintenance; and

WHEREAS, following discussion with Highway, it was determined that an independent contractor will
be required to complete the work and the Engineering Department obtained 3 quotes; and

WHEREAS, the Town Engineer recommends the Town award the Schoelkopf Road Ditch Cleaning to
Ground Breaking Solutions Inc. for $23,000.00.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to sign a letter
of authorization to Ground Breaking Solutions Inc. for work.
