Authorize Out of Town travel for Emergency Manager utilizing Town Vehicle Whereas the Town of Hamburg is a member agency for the Niagara International Transportation Technology Coalition (NITTEC), represented by Emergency Management and the Police Department, Whereas the 2026 New York State TIMposium is scheduled to take place at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, NY on May 20, 2026 from 7am until 445pm, Whereas this full-day event will bring together professionals from various fields to enhance responder safety and roadway clearance practices; whose attendees participate in five sessions led by national experts, covering real-world scenarios, planning, and on-scene tactics, Whereas this TIMPosium event aims to improve both responder and public safety, streamlining traffic incident management across New York State, Whereas Emergency Manager Sean Crotty has been asked by the NYS TIMPosium Organizing Committee to present with NITTEC Operations Manager an Educational Session on Public Safety Telecommunications Role in Traffic Incident Management, Therefore, be it resolved the Town Board Authorize Emergency Manager Sean Crotty to attend the NYS TIMPosium, and present his educational session at the attendance, There is no cost for Emergency Manager Sean Crotty to attend and has requested the use of a town vehicle.
