Winterfest is coming up on February 13" and planning is in full effect. Meaghan has been
reaching out to local businesses to create our Winterfest guide filled with plenty to do during
our town’s “staycation”. The Recreation Department will be hosting Chess Camp, a babysitting
course, a felting class, and running the chili cookoff challenge.

Spring and Summer program planning continue! Letters have been mailed out to last year's
summer staff. Furthermore, we continue to have many local educational professionals working
with us to offer a wide range of programming.

EAST hosted a tri-meet with 2 other local clubs at the high school. EAST athletes are
beginning to prepare for post season which starts in February. Finally, Coach Mary Brinker will
be leaving mid-February for a full-time position in her career field. We wish her the best of luck
and have begun the search for another coach.
