Comprehensive Plan 69

Second Public Open House

The second and final Open House was held in
October 2025. This open house presented draft
materials from the comprehensive plan, including
the future land use map and the recommendations
developed for each of the plan’s goals. The meeting
was held in an open house format with no formal
presentation. Instead, attendees were encouraged
to engage with the various boards around the room
and provide their feedback.

Over 80 community members attended the open
house to provide their feedback on the plan’s
proposed future land use and help us prioritize
which recommendations they think the Town should
seek to accomplish first. This feedback provided
invaluable information that helped clarify and
finalize the latter section of the comprehensive plan.

Stakeholder & Focus Group
Interviews

To ensure the plan considered a diverse array of
opinions and insights from residents and other
stakeholders who held special knowledge or
interest with Aurora, stakeholder and focus group
interviews were conducted. During the interview
process, 29 stakeholders identified by the Steering
Committee were reached out to by the consultant
team, with 23 ultimately being interviewed.
